Your skin needs oxygen to breathe. The pollution of city life, stress, insufficient sleep, and environmental factors reduce your skin’s oxygen levels. O2toDerm is a scientifically-based oxygen therapy system that meets this fundamental need.

We deliver directly to your skin the clean air effect you feel in nature, by waterfalls, in forests, and by the seaside. O2toDerm technology produces 92 percent pure oxygen and enriches it with anions—negatively charged oxygen molecules. These “vitamins from the air” reach your skin 3000 times more concentrated than in natural environments.

During application, your skin is surrounded by intense oxygen. This oxygen is absorbed both through the skin surface and taken through respiration, being carried to skin cells via blood circulation.

The Result?

Your cells are re-energized, the fight against free radicals is strengthened, collagen production is supported, and your skin is renewed from the inside out.

O2toDerm is not just a skincare treatment, it’s a holistic approach. Its seven-stage protocol—deep cleansing, oxygen infusion, special serums, tightening mask, and LED light therapy—meets all your skin’s needs in a single session. Each stage strengthens the next and creates a synergistic effect.

After treatment, your skin glows as if illuminated from within. The dull, tired appearance gives way to vitality. Most valuable of all, you experience this transformation without any pain, irritation, or recovery period. You can immediately return to your social life after the procedure and face your important moments with your skin at its best.

Suitable for people of all ages and all skin types, O2toDerm is the most natural and powerful gift you can give your skin: pure oxygen and the opportunity for renewal.

What is O2toDerm?

O2toDerm is a therapy system based on anionic oxygen technology that offers an innovative approach to skincare. This system supports the skin’s natural renewal and repair processes by delivering oxygen, one of the skin’s most fundamental needs, to skin cells in its purest and most effective form.

Factors such as stress, air pollution, UV rays, insufficient sleep, and unbalanced nutrition brought by modern life reduce the skin’s oxygen levels. Oxygen deficiency negatively affects skin cells’ energy production and renewal capacity. This situation can lead to premature aging of the skin, lifeless appearance, uneven tone, and various skin problems. O2toDerm technology addresses this problem fundamentally.

The system’s working principle is based on producing up to 92 percent pure oxygen. This oxygen is delivered to the skin both topically and through respiration via a special device. The device contains a special head placed over the skin, and through this head, the face is completely surrounded by oxygen. During this process, while the patient rests in a comfortable position, their skin receives intense oxygen therapy.

The most distinctive feature of O2toDerm is anionic oxygen (negative ion) production. Anions are negatively charged oxygen molecules naturally found in clean air environments in nature such as waterfalls, forests, and seasides. These molecules are also called “vitamins from the air” and have many positive effects on human health. The O2toDerm device has the capacity to produce these anions 3000 times more than natural environments.

Anions play a critical role in fighting free radicals, the skin’s greatest enemy. Free radicals are unstable molecules that cause oxidative stress in the skin and accelerate aging by disrupting the collagen-elastin structure. Anions neutralize these free radicals by giving them electrons and making them harmless. This antioxidant effect is fundamentally important in preserving the skin’s youth and slowing down the aging process.

O2toDerm treatment includes a multi-stage protocol. In the first stage, deep cleansing of the skin is performed. Dirt, sebum, and toxins in the pores are cleansed with special foam formulas. In the second stage, while intense oxygen is given to the skin with an oxygen bomb application, anions are simultaneously delivered. In the third stage, serums specially prepared according to the skin’s needs are infused into the skin under pressure. In the fourth stage, a tightening mask is applied, and in the final stage, the treatment is completed with LED light therapy.

LED light therapy is based on the principle of lights at different wavelengths penetrating different layers of the skin and affecting specific skin problems. Red light stimulates collagen production and shows an anti-aging effect. Blue light kills bacteria that cause acne and is used in acne treatment. Green light reduces pigmentation and evens out skin tone. Yellow light improves blood circulation and increases skin radiance.

This multifaceted approach sets O2toDerm apart from other skincare applications. In a single session, cleansing, nourishment, antioxidant protection, tightening, and light therapy are all provided. This synergistic effect ensures that the skin is supported from every angle.

What Does O2toDerm Do?

The O2toDerm oxygen therapy system offers comprehensive care that responds to the skin’s multifaceted needs. Each benefit is based on scientific principles and supports the skin’s natural physiology.

Skin Oxygenation and Increased Cellular Energy

Oxygen is an indispensable element for cells’ energy production. Skin cells produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) using oxygen in energy factories called mitochondria. ATP is the energy source required for all metabolic activities of cells. When aging, stress, and environmental factors lower the skin’s oxygen level, cells cannot produce sufficient energy and their functions are disrupted. O2toDerm maximizes cellular energy production by providing 92% pure oxygen. Cells with more energy work better, renew faster, and look healthier.

Neutralization of Free Radical Damage

The primary cause of skin aging is free radical damage. UV rays, pollution, cigarette smoke, and stress cause the formation of harmful free radicals called Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in the skin. These molecules damage the skin’s DNA, proteins, and lipids. Collagen and elastin fibers break down, the skin barrier weakens, and aging accelerates. The anions produced by O2toDerm create a powerful antioxidant shield. Negative ions stabilize free radicals by giving them electrons and make them harmless. This effect complements the effects of antioxidants like vitamins C and E and protects the skin from oxidative stress.

Stimulation of Collagen and Elastin Production

Collagen is the building block of the skin and provides firmness. Elastin is responsible for the skin’s elasticity. After age 25, approximately 1% collagen loss occurs annually. This loss results in wrinkles, sagging, and skin thinning. Oxygen increases the activity of cells called fibroblasts that produce collagen. In the presence of sufficient oxygen, fibroblasts synthesize more collagen and elastin. The red wavelength of LED light therapy also stimulates fibroblast activity. This combined effect strengthens the skin’s natural support structure, increases tightness, and preserves a youthful appearance.

Regulation of Skin pH Balance

Healthy skin’s pH value is slightly acidic, approximately between 4.5-5.5. This acidic mantle protects the skin barrier, prevents the multiplication of harmful bacteria, and maintains the skin’s moisture balance. Soaps, cleansers, environmental factors, and aging can disrupt the skin’s pH balance. Skin with disrupted pH balance becomes sensitive, dry, and prone to various problems. O2toDerm application helps restore the skin’s natural pH balance. The special serums used and anionic oxygen support the skin’s reformation of the acidic mantle.

Improvement of Blood Circulation

Good blood circulation is critical for skin health. Blood carries nutrients and oxygen to cells, while also removing toxins and metabolic waste. Factors such as aging, sedentary lifestyle, and cold weather slow down skin blood circulation. Poor circulation causes the skin to look pale, dull, and tired. The intense oxygen provided by O2toDerm leads to the dilation of small blood vessels (capillaries) in the skin. This vasodilation effect increases blood flow and ensures better nourishment of the skin. The yellow light of LED therapy also stimulates circulation. Improved circulation provides instant revitalization and radiance of the skin.

Detoxification and Toxin Elimination

Environmental pollution, cosmetic products, nutrition, and metabolic processes can cause toxin accumulation in the skin. Toxins accumulate in pores, disrupt skin functions, and lead to inflammation. The cleansing stage of O2toDerm effectively removes toxins on the skin surface and in the pores. Additionally, increased blood circulation and lymph flow accelerate the elimination of toxins in the deep layers of the skin. Anions also contribute to the neutralization of toxins with their air quality-enhancing effects.

Strengthening the Skin Barrier

The skin barrier is the body’s first line of defense against the outside world. The outermost layer called stratum corneum prevents water loss and blocks harmful substances from entering. A weak barrier leads to skin sensitization and becoming dry and reactive. The special serums applied during O2toDerm treatment contain lipids, ceramides, and moisture-binding factors that support barrier function. Oxygen also supports the healthy maturation of keratinocytes (skin cells) and the formation of a regular barrier.

Acne and Sebum Control

The Propionibacterium acnes bacteria that causes acne multiplies in an oxygen-free environment. Clogged pores and oily skin create an ideal environment for these bacteria. The intense oxygen provided by O2toDerm prevents the multiplication of these anaerobic (living in oxygen-free environment) bacteria. Additionally, the blue light of LED therapy directly kills bacteria. The cleansing stage opens pores and reduces sebum accumulation. Regular applications can help balance sebum production and reduce acne formation.

Optimization of Skin Moisture Balance

Moisture is one of the cornerstones of skin health. Dehydrated skin feels tight, fine lines become prominent, and skin becomes dull. Hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and other moisture-binding molecules used in O2toDerm treatment increase the skin’s moisture retention capacity. Oxygen also supports the production of natural moisturizing factors (NMF) by skin cells. After treatment, skin feels plump, smooth, and moisturized. This effect is not just superficial; hydration in the deep layers of the skin also improves.

Anti-Inflammatory Effect

Chronic low-level inflammation accelerates skin aging and contributes to many skin problems. Sun damage, pollution, and stress trigger inflammation. The anionic oxygen of O2toDerm shows powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces the production of inflammatory cytokines (molecules that increase inflammation) and helps calm the skin. This effect is particularly beneficial in managing rosacea, sensitive skin, and post-laser inflammation.

When Should One Seek O2toDerm Application?

The O2toDerm oxygen therapy system can respond to a wide range of skin needs. Each condition requires support of a different aspect of the skin.

Tired, Lifeless and Dull Skin

The pace of modern life, insufficient sleep, stress, and unbalanced nutrition reduce the skin’s energy level. The skin looks pale, gray, and lifeless. Its natural radiance is lost and even makeup cannot revitalize the skin. This condition is particularly evident in people with intense work pace, frequent travelers, or those who lack sleep. O2toDerm instantly revitalizes and energizes the skin. Intense oxygen infusion accelerates cellular metabolism and restores the skin’s natural brightness. After treatment, the skin appears as if illuminated from within.

Early Signs of Aging

After age 25, the skin’s natural renewal rate slows down. The first fine lines begin to appear around the eyes, on the forehead, and around the mouth. The skin’s texture becomes irregular, pores enlarge, and tightness decreases. Intervention in these early signs can prevent more serious aging problems. O2toDerm is an excellent component of a preventive anti-aging strategy. It stimulates collagen production, reduces free radical damage, and preserves the skin’s youthful characteristics.

Skin Spots and Uneven Tone

Sun spots (solar lentigines), melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and general tone irregularities prevent the skin from looking homogeneous. Irregular distribution of melanin pigment causes the skin to look old and unkempt. The brightening serums used in O2toDerm treatment regulate melanin synthesis. The antioxidant effect of anions reduces the excessive activity of melanocytes (pigment-producing cells). With regular sessions, the intensity of spots decreases and skin tone becomes more even.

Acne and Post-Acne Marks

During the active acne period, O2toDerm helps control bacteria that cause acne. An oxygen-rich environment prevents bacteria from multiplying. Blue LED light shows bactericidal (bacteria-killing) effect. The cleansing stage deeply purifies pores. For acne marks, it accelerates the skin’s renewal process, reduces pigmentation, and supports the healing of scar tissue.

Enlarged Pores

In oily skin, in the T-zone, and with age, pores enlarge and become prominent. This condition causes the skin to look bumpy and rough. The cleansing effect of O2toDerm cleans accumulations in pores. Skin tightening and increased collagen make pores appear smaller. Permanent improvement in pore size can be observed with regular treatment.

Sensitive and Reactive Skin

Some skins are very sensitive and react to many products or applications. Redness, burning, itching, and irritation are frequently experienced problems. The gentle and non-invasive nature of O2toDerm is ideal for sensitive skin. Anti-inflammatory effect calms the skin. Barrier-strengthening serums increase the skin’s tolerance. Oxygen and anions support the skin’s natural defense mechanisms.

Rosacea and Vascular Problems

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease and is characterized by redness, burning sensation, visible vessels, and papulopustules. The anti-inflammatory properties of O2toDerm can provide support in rosacea management. It calms the skin, reduces redness, and strengthens barrier function. However, caution should be exercised during active flare-up periods and doctor’s advice should be obtained.

Sun Damage and Photoaging

Skin exposed to the sun for many years shows early signs of aging. Solar elastosis (damage caused by the sun to elastin fibers), thick and hard tissue, wrinkles, spots, and telangiectasias (small vessel dilations) are observed. The antioxidant effect of O2toDerm supports the repair of sun damage. It accelerates the renewal of damaged cells and improves skin texture.

Skincare for Smokers

Smoking is one of the skin’s greatest enemies. Nicotine constricts vessels, reduces blood circulation, and lowers the skin’s oxygen level. Toxins in cigarette smoke increase free radical formation. In people who smoke, skin ages early, looks pale, and healing capacity decreases. O2toDerm compensates for the oxygen deficiency caused by smoking. It provides antioxidant protection and supports skin detoxification. Of course, the best strategy is to quit smoking, but O2toDerm can help minimize existing damage.

Stressful Periods and City Life

The pollution of city life, stress, insufficient exercise, and poor sleep negatively affect the skin. Environmental toxins accumulate on the skin surface, clogging pores and increasing free radical damage. O2toDerm helps neutralize the effects of city life. It detoxifies, oxygenates, and revitalizes the skin.

Seasonal Transitions

During transitions from winter to spring or from summer to autumn, the skin goes through an adaptation process. Seasonal changes can sensitize the skin, dry it out, or cause oiliness. O2toDerm helps balance the skin during these transition periods. It prepares the skin for the requirements of the new season.

Who Are Suitable Candidates for O2toDerm?

The O2toDerm oxygen therapy system is a safe and effective option for a wide audience. People of different age groups, skin types, and needs can benefit from this treatment.

In young adults aged 18-25, O2toDerm is excellent for preventive care, acne control, and maintaining the skin’s overall health. Although skin is still vibrant and elastic in this age group, early intervention can significantly reduce future signs of aging. Effective results are obtained for common problems of young skin such as acne, pore problems, and irregular tone. Monthly maintenance sessions keep the skin in optimal condition.

Between ages 25-35, the skin’s natural repair mechanisms begin to slow down and the first signs of aging appear. During this critical period, O2toDerm plays both preventive and corrective roles. Fine lines are prevented from deepening, collagen production is supported, and skin radiance is preserved. The negative effects of stressful work life, insufficient sleep, and environmental factors are minimized. In this age group, sessions can start every two weeks and then transition to monthly maintenance.

In people aged 35-50, signs of aging are more prominent. Wrinkles, sagging, spots, and skin loss are observed. In this age group, O2toDerm is combined with other aesthetic applications to provide maximum benefit. It improves the overall quality of the skin, improves texture, and supports youthful characteristics. An intensive course of once a week followed by maintenance sessions once a month or every two weeks is recommended.

In people aged 50 and over, skin tends to be thinner, more fragile, and drier. Hormonal changes (menopause) additionally affect the skin. The gentle nature of O2toDerm is ideal for this age group. It moisturizes, nourishes, supports the skin, and helps slow down the aging process. With regular sessions, skin health can be maintained and quality of life can be improved.

People with normal skin type can safely use O2toDerm to maintain the skin’s optimal condition. With balanced protocols, all skin needs are met and skin health is maintained at the highest level.

Dry skin type is an ideal candidate for O2toDerm. Intense moisturizing and barrier-strengthening effects reduce dryness. Protocols containing hyaluronic acid and ceramides are preferred. Skin gains fullness and a sense of comfort increases.

In oily skin type, pore cleansing and sebum control are prioritized. The deep cleansing effect of O2toDerm removes excess sebum and keeps pores open. The negative charge of anions attracts positively charged toxins and purifies the skin. Sebum production is balanced and skin gains a matte appearance.

In combination skin type, the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) may be oily, while cheek areas may be normal or dry. O2toDerm protocols can be customized regionally. Different serums are applied to different areas to meet each area’s needs.

Sensitive skin type requires special attention. The non-invasive and gentle nature of O2toDerm is perfect for sensitive skin. Irritating chemicals are not used, pressure settings are minimized, and soothing formulations are preferred. Anti-inflammatory serums increase the skin’s tolerance.

For people with needle phobia, O2toDerm is an excellent alternative. Those who cannot tolerate mesotherapy, PRP, or other injection-based treatments can obtain similar anti-aging benefits with O2toDerm.

Professionals with intense work pace greatly benefit from O2toDerm’s zero downtime feature. It can even be applied during lunch break and normal activities can be resumed immediately.

In frequent travelers, jet lag, dry air in airplane cabins, and different climates tire the skin. O2toDerm revitalizes and balances the skin before or after travel.

Athletes and those with active lifestyles may need extra skin care due to intense sweat and environmental exposure. O2toDerm detoxifies and renews the skin.

Male patients have shown increasing interest in skincare in recent years. O2toDerm reduces post-shave irritation, balances oily skin, and responds to male skin needs. Protocols are adjusted accordingly since male skin is generally thicker and oilier.

Who Cannot Have O2toDerm?

Like any medical and aesthetic application, O2toDerm also has certain contraindications. These conditions must be evaluated to guarantee patient safety and treatment effectiveness.

During pregnancy, considering hormonal changes and fetal development, O2toDerm application is not recommended. The effects of serum contents to be used and intense oxygen exposure on pregnancy have not been sufficiently researched. For safety principle, it should be waited during this period. Similar concerns exist during breastfeeding. Since it is not clear whether the active ingredients used pass into breast milk, it is recommended to avoid application until breastfeeding is completed.

In the presence of active infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal), treatment should be postponed. If there is herpes simplex (cold sore), impetigo, folliculitis, or fungal infections, they should first be treated, and O2toDerm should be applied after complete recovery. Application may increase the risk of infection spreading.

If there are open wounds, cuts, burns, or serious skin damage in the application area, healing should be waited for.

The oxygen flow and serum application of O2toDerm can cause irritation in unhealed wounds.

In patients with uncontrolled diabetes, wound healing is impaired and infection risk is increased. Caution should be exercised or application should be avoided in patients whose diabetes is not well controlled.

For patients receiving active cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy), it should be waited until treatment is completed and doctor approval is obtained. Caution should be exercised as cancer cells may be affected by high oxygen levels.

In cases of severe cystic acne, acne should first be brought under control with medical treatment. O2toDerm can cause irritation during very active and inflamed acne periods. However, it can be applied for mild-moderate acne.

Caution should be exercised during active rosacea flare-up. Some rosacea patients may respond to intense oxygen application with redness. However, it can be applied in stable rosacea cases with low settings and anti-inflammatory protocols.

In epilepsy patients, caution should be exercised during LED light therapy. Flashing lights can theoretically trigger seizures. Patients with epilepsy history must be informed and if necessary, the LED stage can be skipped.

People with autoimmune diseases (such as lupus, scleroderma, psoriasis) can have the application during periods when the disease is stable. Treatment should be postponed during active flare-up periods.

In hypertension (high blood pressure) patients, there is usually no problem but caution should be exercised in uncontrolled high blood pressure. Blood pressure is measured before treatment.

In photosensitivity (excessive sensitivity to light) conditions or use of photosensitive drugs, the LED therapy stage should be carefully evaluated or skipped.

If there is oral isotretinoin (Roaccutane) use within the last 3 months, skin may be sensitive. Generally, application is recommended 3 months after discontinuation of the drug.

If aggressive laser, deep peeling, or other invasive procedures have been done within the last 2 weeks, it should be waited until the skin heals. O2toDerm is excellent for post-procedure care but should not be applied too early.

What is the O2toDerm Preparation Process?

O2toDerm application is a comfortable treatment that requires minimal preparation. However, some preparations and information increase the treatment’s effectiveness and ensure optimal results are obtained.

Skin analysis is performed. Skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive), existing problems (acne, spots, wrinkles, pores), skin tone and texture are evaluated. Sometimes more detailed examination can be done using Wood’s lamp or digital skin analysis devices.

Expectations are discussed. What the patient expects from the treatment is understood and realistic goals are set. What O2toDerm can do, how many sessions are needed, when results will be seen, and how long they will be maintained are explained.

Lifestyle is evaluated. Smoking, alcohol consumption, sun exposure, eating habits, water consumption, sleep pattern, and stress level are questioned. These factors affect treatment results.

24-48 Hours Before Treatment

Stay away from procedures that irritate the skin. Do not use harsh scrubs, peeling masks, waxing, epilation, alcohol-based lotions after shaving.

Avoid alcohol-based products. Toners, aftershave, and perfumed products can dry and sensitize the skin.

Avoid intense physical activities. Excessive sweat and friction can irritate the skin.

Sleep well and drink water. Rested skin responds better. Abundant water consumption supports skin hydration.

Do not apply any products to your skin. Come without applying makeup, cream, serum, sunscreen, or any product. Professional cleansing will be done at the clinic.

Dress comfortably. You will be in a semi-reclined position during treatment, so prefer comfortable clothes.

Tie up your hair. If you have long hair, tie it up to keep it away from your face.

Men can shave. If you are going to shave, do it at least 2 hours before treatment so the skin calms down.

Report last-minute changes. Be sure to report any changes in your health condition, medication use, or skin condition in recent days.

Treatment Protocol Stages

  • Stage – Deep Cleansing: First, the skin is cleaned with a gentle cleanser. Makeup, sebum, dirt, and dead cells are removed. This stage takes 5-10 minutes.
  • Stage – Oxygen Bomb: Special foam formulation is applied to the skin. This foam deeply cleanses pores, removes toxins, and prepares the skin for oxygen absorption. The rich and intense foam gives a smooth and moist feeling. Takes 5-10 minutes.
  • Stage – Anion + Oxygen Therapy: This is the most important stage. A special head is placed on the face. When the device is activated, 92 percent pure oxygen and intense anions are directed to the skin. During this stage, the patient lies comfortably and breathes deeply. Oxygen is absorbed not only through the skin surface but also through respiration. Takes 15-20 minutes. This stage is very relaxing and many patients may doze off lightly.
  • Stage – Serum Infusion: Serums specially prepared according to the skin’s needs (hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides, brighteners) are applied to the skin under pressure. These serums are better absorbed by the oxygen-enriched skin. Takes 5-10 minutes.
  • Stage – Tightening Mask: A special tightening mask is applied to the skin. This mask creates a lifting effect on the face and tightens pores. Left on the skin for 10-15 minutes.
  • Stage – LED Light Therapy: While the mask is on the skin, LED light therapy in the color selected according to the skin’s needs is applied. Red (anti-aging), blue (acne), green (pigmentation), or yellow (circulation) light is applied for 10-15 minutes.
  • Stage – Final Care: The mask is removed, moisturizer and sunscreen are applied to the skin. Light makeup can be applied if necessary.

Total duration: 60-75 minutes

No pain, discomfort, or distress is felt during the procedure. Most patients find the procedure relaxing, even meditative.

Which Applications Can O2toDerm Be Combined With?

One of the greatest advantages of O2toDerm is that it can be excellently combined with other aesthetic applications. These combinations create synergistic effects ensuring optimization of results.

Combination with Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is the delivery of vitamin, mineral, amino acid, and hyaluronic acid mixtures to the middle layer of the skin through microinjections. O2toDerm and mesotherapy create an excellent combination. Generally applied alternately; one week mesotherapy, one week O2toDerm. This approach ensures the skin benefits from both needle and needle-free methods. While mesotherapy provides deep penetration, O2toDerm offers surface care and antioxidant protection. Alternatively, mesotherapy first followed by O2toDerm 3-5 days later to calm and nourish the skin is also an effective protocol.

Together with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Treatment

PRP is the injection of platelet-rich plasma obtained from the patient’s own blood into the skin. After PRP application, the skin is sensitive and red. Applying O2toDerm 1-2 days later accelerates the healing process. The anti-inflammatory effect of O2toDerm reduces redness, oxygen supports cellular renewal, and serums provide skin moisturization. This combination is very effective especially in anti-aging protocols.

Combination with Microneedling (Dermaroller/Dermapen)

Microneedling stimulates collagen production by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. After the procedure, the skin is sensitive and red. Applying O2toDerm 7-14 days after microneedling supports skin repair. Alternatively, preparing the skin with O2toDerm followed by microneedling within 1 week is also an effective approach. The combination of the two gives excellent results in skin texture, scar treatment, and anti-aging.

Together with Chemical Peeling

Chemical peelings provide controlled peeling of the upper layers of the skin. After superficial peelings, O2toDerm can be applied after waiting 3-5 days. For medium-depth peelings, 2-3 weeks should be waited. O2toDerm ensures rapid healing of the skin after peeling, reduction of redness, and optimization of results. As an alternative approach, the skin is first nourished and strengthened with O2toDerm, then a light peeling can be applied after 1 week.

Combination with Laser Treatments

After laser applications such as fractional CO2 laser, Erbium laser, IPL, laser resurfacing, the skin needs care. Applying O2toDerm 1-2 weeks after laser treatment is the gold standard of post-laser care. Oxygen accelerates the repair of injured skin, anions reduce inflammation, serums moisturize and nourish the skin. This combination can shorten post-laser erythema time, reduce hyperpigmentation risk, and improve results. Some clinicians also apply O2toDerm 24-48 hours before laser treatment; this way the skin is better prepared for the procedure.

With Radiofrequency (RF) and Ultrasound (HIFU) Treatments

RF and HIFU are heat-based technologies used for skin tightening. These procedures heat the deep layers of the skin and trigger collagen remodeling. After the procedure, the skin needs to be cooled, moisturized, and calmed. When O2toDerm is applied 1-3 days after the procedure, it meets these needs. It also supports the skin’s healing process and optimizes tightening results.

With Botox and Filler Procedures

Injection-based applications such as botulinum toxin (Botox) and hyaluronic acid fillers can be safely performed in the same session with O2toDerm. Generally, O2toDerm is applied first, skin care and cleansing are completed, then injections are performed. This sequence ensures injection into clean skin. Alternatively, injections first followed by O2toDerm can also be done. O2toDerm does not affect the placement of injections and provides additional care to the skin. If there is post-injection swelling or bruising, O2toDerm may not minimize them, so O2toDerm is generally preferred first.

LED Mask or Phototherapy Devices

O2toDerm already includes LED therapy, but can also be combined with special LED mask sessions. Separate sessions can be planned for longer LED exposure.

Each combination should be planned according to the patient’s special needs, skin condition, and goals. Some combinations require special timing, while others can be applied in the same session.

Frequently Asked Questions About O2toDerm

Is O2toDerm painful?

No, O2toDerm is a completely painless and comfortable application. During the procedure, you feel a slight cool sensation on your face, a gentle oxygen flow, and a relaxing feeling. There are no needles, lasers, or any invasive intervention. Most patients are so comfortable during the procedure that they doze off. Some patients report that their eyes get slightly tired during the LED stage, but since the eyes are closed, this is a minimal feeling. Overall, O2toDerm is as comfortable and relaxing as a spa treatment.

How long does a session take?

A standard O2toDerm session takes 60-75 minutes. This duration includes all stages: cleansing (10 min), oxygen bomb (10 min), anion+oxygen therapy (20 min), serum infusion (10 min), mask (15 min), LED therapy (15 min), and final care (5 min). If consultation and skin analysis are added in the first session, the total duration can increase to 90 minutes. In express protocols (only oxygen and LED), the duration can be reduced to 30-40 minutes.

How often should it be done?

In the initial phase, sessions every two weeks are generally recommended. The first 4-6 sessions constitute the intensive treatment phase. If the skin problem is more serious (severe acne, deep wrinkles), sessions once a week may be recommended. After the initial course is completed, maintenance sessions are transitioned to once a month. To keep the skin in optimal condition, maintenance every 4-6 weeks is sufficient. A single “booster” session can be done before special days. Some patients prefer intensified courses seasonally (spring and autumn).

After how many sessions are results seen?

Even after the first session, immediate effects are noticed: the skin looks brighter, more moisturized, smoother, and more rested. However, these are temporary effects. For permanent and cumulative results, a minimum of 4-6 sessions is required. Each session builds on the previous one. After the 4th session, significant improvement is seen in the skin’s overall quality, texture, and brightness. After 6-8 sessions, maximum results are obtained: pores shrink, tone evens out, wrinkles soften, skin tightens. For anti-aging effects, long-term regular treatment is required.

How long do results last?

O2toDerm results are semi-permanent. Since aging and environmental factors continue, maintenance sessions are required to preserve results. After intensive course, effects are expected to be significantly maintained for 2-3 months. With monthly maintenance, this effect can be kept constantly alive. A good home care routine (cleansing, moisturizing, sunscreen, antioxidants) helps preserve results longer. A healthy lifestyle (balanced nutrition, sufficient water, sleep, exercise, not smoking) also supports results.

When can I return to social life after the procedure?

Immediately! One of the biggest advantages of O2toDerm is zero downtime. After the procedure, there is no redness, swelling, peeling, or bruising on the skin. You can immediately return to normal activities, apply makeup, go to work, socialize. This feature is ideal for people with intense work life. It can be applied during lunch break and immediately return to work. In fact, many people have it done just before an important event (wedding morning, before a meeting) because the skin instantly glows.

What should I pay attention to after the procedure?

It is beneficial to pay attention to some simple recommendations for the first 24 hours after the procedure: Avoid intense exercise, sauna, steam room, very hot shower (light sweating is not a problem but excessive sweating can reduce oxygen absorption). Try not to apply makeup for the first 2-3 hours (to not interfere with the skin’s serum absorption process, but if necessary light mineral makeup can be applied). Definitely use sunscreen (SPF 30-50) and do not expose yourself to the sun for long periods. Avoid alcohol-based products, perfumed cosmetics, and retinoid use for the first 48 hours. Drink plenty of water (2-3 liters per day), this supports skin hydration. Do not rub your face, do not dry with a rough towel. Use the care products recommended by your doctor regularly.

Can it be done in summer months?

Yes, O2toDerm can be safely done in summer months. It is different from procedures that create photosensitivity such as laser or deep peelings. It does not create sensitivity to the sun. However, using broad-spectrum sunscreen with high SPF is always critical (should be renewed every 2 hours). Do not stay in the sun for long periods at the beach or pool, prefer hats and protective clothing. Wait at least 2-3 days after intense sun exposure before having treatment. By having O2toDerm before vacation, you can ensure your skin looks more beautiful throughout the vacation.

Can it be done during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

No. For safety principle, O2toDerm is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The effects of serum contents to be used and intense oxygen exposure on the fetus or baby have not been sufficiently researched. After birth, it can be safely started after stopping breastfeeding. If you are planning pregnancy, you can have treatment before getting pregnant. When you become pregnant, treatment is paused and continued after birth and breastfeeding.

Can men also have it done?

Absolutely! O2toDerm is suitable for everyone, men and women. Interest in skincare among men has shown great increase in recent years. Protocols are customized considering the characteristics of male skin (thicker, oilier, large pores, sensitive due to shaving). It is very effective in men for post-shave irritation, acne marks, oily skin, pore problems, sun damage, and early signs of aging. The procedure is completely comfortable and painless.

Are there any side effects?

O2toDerm is an extremely safe application and has no serious side effects. Minimal effects that can be seen very rarely and temporarily: Slight redness for a few hours after the procedure (very rare, usually in very sensitive skin). Slight dizziness in some people after the procedure (due to intense oxygen, passes within a few minutes, results from deep breathing). Allergic reaction if there is an allergy to the serums used (therefore allergy history is queried beforehand). Minimal infection risk (sterile technique is used). Rarely reactivation in those with herpes history (can be prevented with prophylactic antiviral).

Will it help my acne marks?

Yes, O2toDerm can help improve the appearance of acne marks. For post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots), the brightening protocol is effective. For atrophic scars (pits, craters), O2toDerm alone may not be sufficient; it needs to be combined with applications such as microneedling, fractional laser, TCA CROSS. The overall texture of the skin improves, tone evens out, new acne formation decreases. Realistic expectations are important; for deep scars, multiple treatment modalities are required.

I have sensitive skin, is it suitable for me?

Yes, O2toDerm is an ideal application for sensitive skin. It is not invasive, not irritating like chemical peeling. Serum contents are customized according to sensitivity; perfume, alcohol, and strong acids are removed. Anti-inflammatory and calming protocols are used. Oxygen and anions strengthen the skin’s natural barrier function. With regular O2toDerm sessions, the tolerance of sensitive skin can increase and reactivity can decrease. If there is rosacea, eczema history, it must be reported and approached carefully.

Will my pores shrink?

Yes, O2toDerm helps reduce pore appearance. The deep cleansing stage cleans sebum, dirt, and toxins in pores; clean pores appear smaller. Skin tightening and increased collagen tighten pores. Balancing sebum production prevents pore clogging. The negative charge of anions attracts positively charged toxins in pores and cleans them. Permanent improvement in pore size can be observed with regular sessions. However, it is not possible for genetically very large pores to completely disappear; significant reduction in their appearance is targeted.
